StealthCon1.0 - The Shak Attack!
Early 2006 word got out that Shak, famed Adwords expert, online
entrepreneur and frequent visitor of many SEO Fora, was undertaking a
Round The World trip including Sydney. What better excuse to organise a
meeting of like minded people to not only meet the Man in the flesh, but
also have
The
event kicked off with a private luncheon at the Summit Restaurant atop
Australia Square. Present were (L-R) Julian Persaud, Shakil Khan, Chris Dimmock,
Warwick Bone, and Joachim Holte. What better way to showcase out beautiful city
to Shak over a good meal, good beer, and informative conversation.
The proceedings then moved to the Belgium Beer Cafe in The Rocks, where
we were joined by a number of local webmasters eager to network with real
flesh and blood people.
In short, a good time was had by all. Many thanks from everyone to
Chris Dimmock of Cogentis for doing all the legwork to organise this
event. Cheers Chris!
At the time of this event, there was no clear plan for a series of
meetings, and has been named StealthCon 1.0 in retrospect.
